  • nutritional yeast
  • instant hummus – just add water! omit oil for a lower-fat snack!
  • veggie burger mix
  • falafel mix
  • vegetable broth mix
  • “chikn” soup mix – makes a great rich and creamy soup base
  • garbanzo/chickpea flour – excellent for frying tofu and making gravy!
  • grains! quinoa, barley, rice


  • gravy
  • “cheeze” sauce
  • pesto


  • rice or almond cheeze (no casein!)
  • soy yogurt
  • Tofutti “Better Than Cream Cheese”


  • tempeh
  • “TVP” or “SVP” – texturized vegetable protein
  • seitan
  • “deli slices”
