Let them eat cake!

The top two layers of this cake, the marzipan roses and the fondant were all vegan! See – you don’t have to do without!

My amazing aunt made our wedding cake. She used a boxed cake mix and used Ener-G egg replacer and make strawberry and raspberry jam filling.

I ate A LOT 😀 And our guests were pretty amazed that it was vegan!

  1. Wow… roses have always been my least favorite flower, always given without thought to the occasion or recipient.

    You my dear old friend (in years known not lived :), have shown these flowers in a light that brings back the old Hollywood glam that has been lost and I think missed dearly.

    I will forever think of the glam-fun-fest that was your wedding as the day that breathed life back into the rose for me.
