Sometimes you just want something crunchy for a snack. Chips are solid fat and no nutritional goodness.
Have these five ingredients on hand?
- 2 cans garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
- garlic salt
- black pepper
- ground cumin
- cooking spray oil
In a bowl, spray garbanzos with 4 quick sprays of oil. Add approximately 2 tsps garlic salt and pepper and 1 tsp of ground cumin (adjust to taste). Toss gently. Bake in a 350 degree oven for approximately 50 minutes – stir a few times while in the oven – until beans are crunchy.
Get creative! Play with spices! Use different beans!
This is a way better alternative to chips and you’ll get protein and fiber to boot!
